Job Title: Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Texas Panhandle Centers. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, and feeding
  • Transport individuals to appointments and activities
  • Prepare and serve meals
  • Engage in therapeutic activities and promote socialization
Requirements:
  • No experience required; willingness to learn and grow with our team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or completion of competency tests
  • Valid Texas driver's license and insurable under agency vehicle policy
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in therapeutic activities and behavior therapy techniques
  • Ability to speak Spanish
  • Four years of experience in teaching multi-disabled adults in groups and individual settings
