Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical expert in vibration and thermal design, analysis, and testing.
  • Contribute to the development of highly specialized, multi-million dollar microscopes with exceptional resolution by collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Oversee mechanical development from initial requirements to production, including concept layouts and detailed designs.
  • Ensure project objectives regarding cost, quality, and timelines are met.
  • Support the transition of designs to production.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Expertise in thermal characterization, cooling system design, and vibration analysis.
  • Strong focus on vibration analysis and acoustic enclosure design.
  • Proficient in FEA simulations to evaluate structural and acoustic performance.
  • Experience in precision machine design, particularly for semiconductor fabrication.
  • Familiarity with microscopy, vacuum systems, and automation technologies.
  • Experience in modal analysis to assess dynamic characteristics of structures.
  • Background check required post-offer.
Work Environment

The role is primarily office-based, with occasional requirements to simulate user environments for design testing. Travel may be necessary to collaborate with other facilities or suppliers.
