Department Overview
The Trait Innovation Delivery & Execution (TIDE) team is dedicated to discovering new traits and efficiently delivering research and development products. Research initiatives encompass new product ideas, trait discovery, crop transformation, molecular genotyping, and trait validation. The team is diverse and experienced, collaborating with both internal and external partners to achieve results in the agricultural technology sector.
Position Summary
The role of Gene Editing & Plant Transformation Scientist I focuses on improving soybean transformation processes, developing gene-edited events, and advancing CRISPR technologies. This position necessitates proficiency in CRISPR molecular biology, plant transformation techniques, collaboration with research and development teams, mentoring of junior staff, and contributions to the company’s intellectual property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in plant transformation and gene editing
- Familiarity with CRISPR molecular biology and next-generation sequencing library preparation
