HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is a 237-bed acute care hospital serving Charlotte County with emergency care, an accredited cancer program, stroke center of excellence, and chest pain center. Our team has provided healthcare in the community for over 40 years.
OverviewThis leadership role ensures high-quality patient-centered care in our Surgical ICU unit, collaborating with the management team to deliver exceptional results. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will lead by example, model our company's values, and prioritize our patients' needs.
ResponsibilitiesIn this critical position, you will:
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services, working collaboratively with the management team to drive improvements.
- Support employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing engagement and outcomes.
- Recommend staff interviewing, selecting, and training, as well as implement courses of action related to conflict resolution, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage all practical aspects of staff labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
