Position: Technologist Support Specialist

Location: Wake County, NC
I. POSITION SUMMARY
- Facilitate patient transitions within the facility
- Assist in the development of examination protocols
- Manage medical documentation as required
- Reports to the Lead Technologist and Senior Clinical Operations Manager
II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care Duties 70%
- Coordinate patient flow
- Support patients with changing attire
- Clarify procedures to patients
- Ensure patient areas are tidy and free from hazards
- Assist with designated tests and procedures
- Provide oral contrast and guidance to patients
Medical Documentation Duties 20%
- Request and import medical records
- Package and dispatch records to requesting entities
Safety and Infection Control 5%
- Comply with safety and infection control protocols
- Evaluate patients for safety
- Document incidents and ensure follow-up
Additional Responsibilities 5%
- Evaluate age-specific patient requirements
- Uphold confidentiality standards
III. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education: High school diploma or GED
B. Experience: No previous experience necessary
C. Certification: BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
D. Licensure: Not applicable
