We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to join our team at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hospital facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods and protocols.
- Prepare Environmental Service carts for assigned areas and ensure they are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Spot clean, dust, polish, sweep, mop floors, clean fixtures, showers, commodes, and miscellaneous cleaning in assigned areas, including rooms for incoming patients.
- Remove soiled linens and change beds with clean linens.
- Assist in cleaning of emergency spills observed or upon request.
- Apply proper infection control practices and isolation techniques to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Prior cleaning experience in an institution is desired, but not mandatory.
