ViaQuest - Music Therapist Position

We are seeking experienced, Board-Certified Music Therapists to join our team and work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position offers opportunities for both office-based and home-based work with a stable salary, incentive program, generous PTO, paid holidays, and benefits such as company-paid disability and life insurance. Therapists also have the flexibility to create their own work schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the service team for effective communication and customer service
  • Implement a strengths-based clinical approach
  • Contribute to the team process with strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Implement music therapy to support various areas of development
  • Use music to improve brain function and connectivity
  • Provide therapy treatments to enhance communication and body awareness

Work Environment:

  • Home and community-based
  • Office-based
  • Hybrid of home and office-based

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in music therapy (MT-BC)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in Medicaid Waiver and Neurologic Music Therapy is a plus
  • 2 years of music therapy experience preferred
