Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Provide technical expertise and direction to department personnel, promoting collaboration and innovation
  • Translate design specifications and code requirements into product designs, ensuring compliance with ASME Code Sections VIII and III
  • Offer technical support to end users, collaborating with project management, quality assurance, and manufacturing personnel
  • Perform product performance testing and support the development of test procedures
Requirements:
  • BSME with 6-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering design and analysis of industrial rotating machinery
  • US Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, MathCad, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Thorough understanding of ASME Code Sections VIII and III, with knowledge of high-temperature design
  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and highly motivated
