About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AEM Developer to join our team at Hearst. As a Freelance Senior AEM Developer, you will be instrumental in innovating and developing immersive digital experiences on cutting-edge, large-scale, enterprise consumer-facing websites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop code for highly visible marketing and eCommerce Websites, implement high-fidelity, responsive layouts from creative comps.
  • Be instrumental in developing digital experiences using cutting-edge technology by leveraging your Java software development experience.
  • Collaborate with front/back end teams to integrate code in applications.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility of front-end code across devices.
  • Be a key part of an application development project team comprised of onshore and offshore developers using Scrum ceremonies and methodologies.
Requirements
  • AEM Developer Certified.
  • Working knowledge with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS or experience with AEM applications using version 6.5 or AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • 4+ years of experience building websites.
  • Have a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS (SASS/Less) and JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with custom components using HTL.
  • Worked with custom templates (Editable and Static).
  • Worked with custom client libraries.
  • An understanding of integration of web pages and applications with RESTful webservices.
  • Ability to establish presentation layer technical requirements.
