Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas, under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent.
  • Position patients and MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT Primary Certification/Registration and New York State License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of MRI equipment and procedures.
