As an Occupational Therapist at Solaris HealthCare Waterman, you'll play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each resident
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to improve functional abilities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Provide education and training to residents and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
- Document progress and outcomes to inform treatment plans and improve care quality
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
- Experience working with older adults and individuals with physical disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
