Responsibilities:
• Receiving admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conducting initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Transcribing and processing medical orders accurately.
• Demonstrating competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.
Qualifications:
• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Clinical experience is preferred.
