Samtec Inc. is a leading global electronic connector manufacturer with a strong focus on emerging technology. We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to join our team and contribute to our rapid sales growth rate.

The Co-Op will work with various managers and engineers within our department to gain exposure to different aspects of engineering. Responsibilities will include completing assigned projects, building trust with team members, and maintaining customer focus.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. They will also have a passion for learning and a willingness to take initiative to explore new solutions to issues presented.

During the Co-Op, you will be exposed to various technologies used at Samtec, including 3D design, finite element analysis, and stress calculations. You will also have the opportunity to work with senior engineers and learn from their experience.

Qualifications:
Student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a team
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, innovation, customer service, and ability to create win/win solutions
