Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial dishwashers and washing machines to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchenware.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, and pans by hand when necessary.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles and recycling bins.
  • Rotate dishes and kitchenware to reduce wear and tear.
  • Clean and maintain dish storage areas.
  • Follow established sanitation policies and procedures at all times.
  • Provide assistance to prep cooks and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak periods.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work as assigned.
  • Clean up spills and broken glassware immediately.
  • Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to management.
Requirements
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and diplomatic attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Physical ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. You will also receive paid time off, holidays, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Occasional travel may be required for training and company functions.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
