Job Summary:
Spherion Staffing is seeking a skilled Assembler I to join our team at a manufacturing facility in Stead, NV. As an Assembler I, you will be responsible for performing simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components, working under closer supervision, and troubleshooting problems as they arise.
Responsibilities:
- Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components
- Use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices to assemble parts
- Work under closer supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams
- Pick, pack, and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Perform other various duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- 1-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift
- Requires fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion
- Must be able to wear required PPE as required by company policies and procedures
- Background check and drug test required
- Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance
- Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas)
- Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity
- Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents
- Steel-toed shoes required, all other PPE provided by client
