Position Overview: Under the guidance of the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, the Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough cleaning of apartments before new residents move in, ensuring all areas including living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens are spotless.
  • Strip and wax hallways to maintain a polished appearance.
  • Clean common areas such as laundry rooms, offices, maintenance shops, and clubhouses.
  • Manage waste disposal in shared spaces, ensuring cleanliness.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean windows, doors, and furnishings to enhance the living experience.
  • Occasionally assist with delivering notices to residents and performing minor repairs, including light bulb replacements and touch-up painting.
  • Utilize cleaning equipment and tools effectively, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
Qualifications:

Education: A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience: Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is advantageous, with familiarity in using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency is preferred.
