Our Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a vital role in providing direct patient care. They administer medications, take vital signs, and provide emotional support to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN)
  • Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures
  • Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions
  • Restock medication inventories
  • Provide direct patient care and ensure resident safety
