Our mission is to provide exceptional care and enhance the quality of life for those with special needs. Established in 1951, we have pioneered fully integrated, personalized care and education that honors each person's dignity and encourages their highest potential.
Our Programs
Our accredited non-profit private school merges traditional academics with therapeutic interventions and vocational skill development. Our Adult Services Program encompasses five licensed community residences/group homes and two adult learning centers, staffed by experienced therapists and instructors who support adult patients in achieving their highest level of functioning and community integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in relevant staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

- Attend all mandatory staff training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with department heads, co-workers, patients, families, and external agency personnel.
- Commit the necessary time to ensure appropriate staffing and completion of duties.
- Manage time efficiently while on duty.
- Adhere to Employee Health requirements and Matheny policies, procedures, and standards of performance.
- Assist colleagues during staff shortages or emergencies.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy towards patients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical endurance to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and assisting patients.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations in various healthcare settings.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain professionalism.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care responsibilities.
- Valid state-issued Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certificate and CPR certification are required.
Employment Type: Full-Time
