Position Overview

Focus Staff is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) for a temporary travel assignment.

Job Summary

This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a multi-specialty environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and possess a strong commitment to patient care.

Contract Details
  • Duration: Temporary Assignment
  • Schedule: 5x8 Days
Compensation and Benefits

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent
  • State licensure as required
  • Advanced certification in specialty (RVT/RCS/RDCS) within 18 months of hire, if applicable
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Completion of AHA ACLS Provider Course within 12 months of employment
  • Preferred experience in skilled nursing or psychiatric settings
Responsibilities

The Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) will be responsible for:

  • Conducting ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental protocols
  • Collaborating with the Manager of Ultrasound Services and Medical Directors
  • Working under the guidance of experienced sonographers
