Job Title: Staff Radiochemist

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled Staff Radiochemist to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of new research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and conduct experiments in a laboratory setting, utilizing a range of scientific techniques and equipment.
  • Analyze data and results, identifying trends and patterns, and making recommendations for future research directions.
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects, working closely with colleagues to design and implement experiments.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior staff members, ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory activities.
  • Develop and maintain laboratory equipment and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, such as chemistry or physics.
  • At least four years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a strong background in radiochemistry and analytical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Working Conditions:

The Staff Radiochemist will work in a laboratory setting, with regular exposure to chemicals, radiation, and other hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
