Automotive Alignment Technician

About the Position
Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a skilled Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Massapequa Park, NY area.
As an Automotive Alignment Technician, you will use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. Your attention to detail and ability to measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles will ensure that our customers' tires wear evenly and their vehicles travel straight and true.
In addition to alignment work, you will also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs, as well as perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
It is preferred that you possess a state inspection license.
Physical Demands
This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and performing repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. You must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
