Production Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Worker to join our team at PeopleReady. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for meeting quality standards and deadlines for products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check for defects and assemble products
  • Monitor manufacturing equipment and follow safety procedures
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with jobs that include general labor, small part machining or assembly, engine assembly, testing, packaging, and assembly line positions
  • Operate production equipment and use hand and power tools
  • Store products and materials and meet deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
  • Report on defective products or machinery and check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials
  • Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products
  • Review and follow standard work instructions and follow the company's safety and quality guidelines

Requirements:

  • No experience needed; all training to be provided
  • Perform repetitive tasks and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Repeatedly stand, squat, bend, and lift for long periods of time
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures and high noise levels requiring PPE
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and as part of a team as well as independently
  • Ability to communicate and read in English and basic math and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and situational flexibility

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18.45/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.

An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
