Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily living tasks, as well as helping them to develop real-life skills and participate in their communities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living tasks
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
  • Help individuals develop real-life skills, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Encourage individuals to participate in their communities and engage in activities they enjoy
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide individualized support and services
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
