Position Summary

The Cone Line Operator plays a crucial role in our production process. This position involves:

  • Removing the front half of the carcass from the back half and ensuring a steady supply of front halves to the cone line.
  • Properly loading cones and executing shoulder and wing cuts, with responsibilities rotating among various tasks.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Working Conditions

In this role, you will be required to:

  • Regularly sit, walk, and stand; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Lift and/or move up to 15 pounds frequently.
  • Maintain specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Reliability in reporting to work on time and fulfilling all scheduled hours, including overtime and weekends.
  • Understanding and adherence to established rules and procedures, along with the ability to accept constructive feedback.
  • A commitment to safety and the ability to set an example of good safety practices.
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all Food Safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in using small, hand-held tools (e.g., knives, scissors).
  • The physical capability to bend, climb, stoop, and stand as required by assigned tasks.
  • Repetitive motions involving grasping, cutting, reaching, and lifting (between 3 – 5 lbs.).
  • The ability to stand on concrete floors or metal stands for extended periods.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
