Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental, health, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
- Conduct job hazard analyses and statistical analysis of incidents and accidents
- Manage worker compensation programs and property and casualty insurance auditing and reporting activities
- Chair safety committee meetings and conduct employee, general contractor, and subcontractor safety orientations and safety meetings
- Respond to formal OSHA, EPA, and DOT investigations and participate in hearings
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- OSHA 10/30 Hour Trainer in General Industry (OTI 501) certification required
- Hazmat certification and Workers Compensation experience preferred
- Emergency First Responder with CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment
- RCRA Hazardous Waste Certified and DOT Hazardous Materials Certified
