We are seeking a highly skilled Water Jet Technician to join our team at Express Employment Professionals in Logan, Utah. As a Water Jet Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and operating a high-pressure water jet machine to process and produce quality products in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload material and parts from the Waterjet machine
• Operate and program a CNC Waterjet machine to achieve precise cutting results
• Monitor equipment performance and detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality products
• Report any machine malfunctions to management for prompt resolution
• Stage parts for next area of production and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move heavy materials safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the Waterjet machine to ensure optimal performance
• Meet or exceed production rates and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Verify quantities and report any shortages or quality deficiencies of incoming products

Requirements:

• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company protocols
• Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues
• Ability to lead others in company expectations and procedures
• Basic mechanical skills, including reading a tape measure and basic computer programming
• Forklift experience and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
