Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:
CivicMinds, Inc is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise in perioperative procedures, equipment, and standards of care will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, in accordance with established nursing standards and AVH policies.
  • Maintain competency in perioperative procedures, equipment, and standards of care, adhering to AORN standards and unit-specific policies.
  • Ensure sterile process, sterile consciousness, and decontamination and sterilization process as defined by AORN standards of care.
  • Research and coordinate new-case-specific equipment and procedures, communicating information to the Director, materials staff, and other team members as necessary.

Requirements:
  • A current Colorado RN License (or compact) is required.
  • Required certifications specifically through the American Heart Association: BLS required upon hire, ACLS required within six months of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
