Catholic Charities Maine is seeking a dedicated Agape Assistant to provide in-home support services to retired priests in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland, ME. As a trained and supervised paraprofessional, you will assist clients with daily tasks such as cleaning, grocery shopping, and laundry, enabling them to maintain their independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Assisting with household chores and errands
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transportation needs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and ability to print neatly
  • Preference given to those with experience serving seniors and persons with disabilities
