As a member of our organization, you will have access to a robust support system that equips you with the resources and clinical guidance necessary to positively influence the lives of your students. If you are dedicated to social work and wish to make a meaningful contribution to educational settings, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, during standard school hours.
- Provide targeted support to a diverse group of students in the elementary school environment.
- Assist both General Education and Special Education students.
- Manage a caseload of 20-35 students.
- Collaborate with other related service professionals within the school.
- Implement strategies for crisis intervention to promote student well-being.
- Advocate for the comprehensive welfare of students, addressing social, emotional, and academic needs.
- Engage with teachers and families to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Deliver both push-in and pull-out services as required.
- Develop and monitor interventions to assess the effectiveness of IEPs.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work.
- Eligibility for LMSW licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Preferred experience in an Early Childhood educational setting.
