Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to join our team at Midwest Vision Partners. As an Ophthalmic Photographer, you will play a critical role in documenting specific disease processes through photography and other imaging devices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Bring patients from the waiting area into the photography room and navigate through the EHR system to verify and document information in the EMR system.
  • Shoot accurate OCT's on both Zeiss and Heidelberg machines and take fundus photos on Zeiss, Eidon, and Optos cameras.
  • Inject and perform FA's and ICG's on multiple camera systems and perform visual field and color vision tests.
  • Record patient information in Excel spreadsheets and troubleshoot camera or machine issues, communicating with tech support as needed.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and experience with Humphrey Visual Fields, OCT's, angiograms, and fundus photos.
  • Able to work in dim lighting and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as knowledge of medical terminology.
