Operations Manager - Chewy
Chewy is on the lookout for an Operations Manager to oversee their fulfillment center. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree or possess equivalent experience, along with over 5 years of leadership experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations. Essential qualities include robust project management capabilities, a strong customer service focus, and adaptability to evolving circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inbound and outbound operations within the fulfillment center
- Lead and mentor a team of Area Managers and Operations Leads
- Facilitate strategic planning and forecasting initiatives
- Promote a collaborative team environment that values feedback and innovation
- Leverage the Warehouse Management System to enhance order fulfillment efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse or fulfillment operations
- Proven track record in enhancing inventory and order management systems
- Metrics-driven approach with strong project management skills
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to adapt swiftly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce operations
- Certification and/or experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies
