Millennium Physician Group is seeking a full-time APRN/Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist/Inpatient Services team in the Port Charlotte area.
About the RoleWe are looking for a positive, energetic, and well-organized individual who can multi-task and think outside the box. As an APRN/Physician Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physician to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, infections, and injuries
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Manage patient overall well-being and provide comprehensive care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Florida APRN or PA License & Board Certification
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems (Athena knowledge preferred but not required)
