Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team for a travel contract opportunity in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and patient support, as well as patient care, during invasive and non-invasive procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating various medical equipment, assessing procedure rooms, and ensuring the readiness of necessary supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and patient care during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient conditions
  • Operate medical equipment safely and correctly
  • Assess procedure rooms for equipment functionality and readiness
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiology or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist role
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in computed tomography; OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
  • State license if required
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
