Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Summary:
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images, and assisting radiologists with imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Appropriately set the controls of the related equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collating processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately labeling
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration

Requirements:
• Eighteen months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Tech
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
