Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sigma Healthcare Staffing. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, computed tomography (CT), and mammography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform all radiological examinations ordered by physicians, including routine and special procedures, in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures performed, including patient information, examination details, and any relevant notes or comments.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning within established standards.
  • Quality Control: Participate in quality control activities, including testing and evaluation of imaging equipment, to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care, including positioning, comfort, and safety, to ensure a positive experience for all patients.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies, techniques, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Certifications: WA State Radiology Tech License, or CT and American Heart Association BLS Card
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is desirable, with a good understanding of imaging equipment and procedures.
  • Education: Continuing education is necessary to maintain certification and stay current with industry developments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Quality Control: Knowledge and experience with quality control tests, including MQSA Requirements, FDA Inspection, and ACR Accreditation.
  • Experience with Implant Patients: Knowledge and experience with implant patients, including proper positioning and imaging techniques.
  • Documentation: Documentation of a minimum of 200 mammograms completed within a 24-month period for Tech II qualification.
