Lube Technician

We are seeking a skilled Lube Technician to join our team at Auto Inc. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs on customer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter changes.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter changes
• Conduct general housekeeping duties, including cleaning the bay area, oil drains, and oil filter buckets
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and tidy
• Maintain a clean and organized shop area, including accounting for all dealership-owned tools
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal

• Valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Pass a background check and negative drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to apply common sense and follow instructions
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong personal initiative
• Ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle
• Ability to use a computer and 10-key calculator
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely

• Work in an auto shop environment, both indoors and outdoors
• Rotate equipment, vehicles, elevators, lifts, and tow-lines frequently
• Exposed to fumes, chemicals, solvents, and caustics
• Exposed to extreme temperatures
