Job Description

The Geospatial Data Specialist will work closely with the Operations Survey Lead and Principal, Survey & Technology, to develop survey specifications for Primoris Services Corporation. This role involves ensuring the survey analyst team receives training to perform surface-to-surface comparisons, create VCL files from CSV pile elevations, and other tasks defined in the survey process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Survey specification development: Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop survey specifications.
  • Training: Ensure the survey analyst team receives necessary training.
  • Survey process improvement: Continuously improve and update the survey process.

Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of GIS, LIDAR, GPS, and other technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Candidates with mentorship and training experience are preferred.
