Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a local school district in Port Charlotte, FL. As a contract SLP, you will work closely with the Speech Services Coordinator to determine your caseload and building assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Speech and Language Therapy Services: Work with students identified with communication disorders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain Accurate Service Records: Ensure timely and accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Evaluate Students with Suspected Communication Disorders: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop recommendations for speech and language services.
  • Develop and Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs that address students' communication goals.
  • Consult with School Staff and Parents: Provide guidance and support to educators and parents on strategies to support students' communication development.
  • Participate in Medicaid Billing Process: Ensure accurate and timely billing for school-based services.
Requirements
  • Florida SLP License: Possess a valid license issued by the Florida Department of Health or a SLP certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education.
