Role Summary:
The Department of Music is seeking applications for a part-time instructor specializing in Music Education, specifically to teach Woodwind Methods for aspiring Music Education majors. The course will be conducted weekly, focusing on essential woodwind techniques and pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver an engaging 80-minute class each week.
2. Prepare and submit course materials, including syllabus and grading documentation, promptly.
3. Administer final assessments during the designated examination period.

Qualifications Required:
- A Master's degree in Music Education or Performance, with a focus on woodwind instruments.
- Demonstrated expertise in woodwind performance and teaching methodologies.
- A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience at K-12 or collegiate levels, showcasing effective instructional strategies and student engagement.
- Familiarity with K-12 teacher evaluation frameworks in New Jersey.

Preferred Qualifications:
- ABD or a doctorate in Music Education or Performance.
- Experience in supervising student teachers and teaching at the college level.

Compensation:
Salary will be determined based on one Faculty Weighted Hour, with no additional travel or relocation reimbursements provided.
