Job Summary

Hudson Grille is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for executing all line station menu items to exact recipe/plate presentation specifications, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment, and meeting daily productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items to exact recipe specifications, maintaining high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Meet daily productivity standards, prioritizing cooking and preparation times to ensure timely pacing of guest meals.
  • Adjust ingredients and menu item preparation standards to accommodate guest special requests.
  • Set up station with sufficient product and utensils, and calibrate cooking and food holding equipment to ensure a smooth meal service.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend recipes and product plating specifications in English.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions from others in English.
  • Ability to memorize and replicate recipe/menu item production procedures.
  • Possess the physical stamina to stand working for up to 10 hours.
  • Consistently capable of meeting deadlines and production goals with limited supervision.
  • Able to move items up to 50 pounds for distances of up to 25 feet.
  • Comfortable working in an environment that may experience significant temperature changes.
  • Handle stressful situations in a positive and supportive manner.
