Culinary Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Bethany in Brainerd, MN. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including baked goods, soups, and entrees.
  • Follow standardized recipes and Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, such as mixers, slicers, and ovens, to prepare and cook food.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and cleanliness standards.
  • Work effectively with internal customers, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of applicable experience in food preparation and service.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients.
