Job Overview:

The Janitor/Groundskeeper is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of both the interior and exterior of the facility. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring a clean and safe environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform general cleaning duties within the facility, including:
  • Emptying trash receptacles
  • Cleaning and restocking restrooms
  • Maintaining cleanliness in breakrooms
Safely operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and small hand tools.Conduct light maintenance repairs as directed for both interior and exterior areas.Maintain cleanliness of public areas as instructed.Engage in outdoor maintenance tasks, including:
  • Ground upkeep in small areas
  • Snow removal as necessary
Assist in inventory management by monitoring and reporting supply levels.Collaborate with other team members and provide relief support as needed.

Skills: Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and effective communication.

Education & Experience: Relevant experience in janitorial or maintenance roles is preferred.
