Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of sonographic exams, including obstetric, abdominal, and vascular studies, to generate high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists.
  • Assist physicians during invasive procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations, while maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Prepare exam rooms and equipment to ensure proper infection control and patient safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent experience.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) or abdominal sonography (AB).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and physicians.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as needed.
