Job Summary

South Dade KIA of Homestead is seeking a skilled TXM Technician to join our award-winning team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance, diagnosing complex issues, and executing vehicle repairs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Utilize hand-held and onboard diagnostic tools to test vehicle systems and components
  • Inspect parts such as hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, and brakes to diagnose and isolate problems
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
  • Perform preventative maintenance by replacing worn parts to avoid vehicle breakdowns, following checklists to ensure all critical components are inspected
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure service transparency
Requirements:
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • ASE Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a service department
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Availability to work weekends (Saturdays)
