Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Insulation Technician to join our team at PeopleReady Skilled Trades. As a Commercial Duct Insulator, you will be responsible for installing insulation on steam, hot water, chill water, refrigeration lines, piping, and fittings, as well as air conditioning ducts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, compute, and determine the correct type of insulation needed for jobs
  • Provide orders for materials required
  • Apply sealants, caulking, and other protective coatings
  • Skill in the use of standard tools and equipment of the insulating trade
  • 2 years insulation experience
  • Layout common patterns (Tee, Endcap, Bevel, Unequal Tee)
  • Know correct materials and sizes for each application
  • Capable of installing insulation correctly

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in insulation
  • Knowledge of insulation materials and sizes
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
