Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Brooke Grove Retirement Village. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and contributing to our mission of "Touching People's Lives".
Responsibilities:- Perform resident assessments, visits residents on a routine basis, and completes all clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with nursing administration and healthcare team members to ensure follow-through of resident care and care plans.
- Coordinate and monitor duties performed by geriatric nursing assistants, provide coaching and verbal/written disciplinary action as necessary.
- Monitor medication administration performed by certified medicine aides, provide assistance as needed.
- Contact physicians, specialists, and other care providers as needed to ensure appropriate communication and follow-through of resident care.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed and in accordance with physician's orders.
- Coordinate ordering of lab tests, exams, and medical services as necessary, and communicate these services, appointments, and results appropriately.
- Communicate with accompanying medical staff director on rounds as needed.
- Perform required medical documentation and maintain clinical records in an accurate and timely manner.
- Attend in-service trainings and nursing meetings as required.
- Minimum of associate's degree or equivalent from college or technical school, or diploma in nursing required.
- Minimum six months to one year related experience and/or additional training.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse license and C.P.R. certification.
