We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse Cardiac Specialist to join our team. This is a 13-week contract position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

About the Job
  • This is a travel nursing job that requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of recent experience in this specialty.
  • You will be working 36 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts, days.

Salary: $123,000 per year (based on 36 hours/week and 52 weeks/year)

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, plus a range of benefits including private housing or housing allowance, group health insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, travel reimbursement, and more.

Responsibilities
  • You will perform angioplasties, implant pacemakers, and diagnose cardiac conditions with invasive catheterization procedures.
  • You will administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
  • You will identify blockages, assist the physician during procedures, and monitor the patient's status at other times.

Requirements:

  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting
