Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

Gundersen Health System is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiological exams and procedures to aid in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
Key Responsibilities- Work with patients and their families to provide compassionate, individualized care in the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.
- Demonstrate accurate knowledge of established protocols and equipment operation when performing exams on patients.
- Provide high-quality service to customers in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Maintain confidentiality with others regarding patient and organizational information.
- Assume responsibility to provide a high-quality learning environment for patients, their families, students, and co-workers.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities as listed on the competency checklist and as requested by others.
- Utilize knowledge of regulatory compliance when working with patients and their associated charges.
- Adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
- Personally interact, engage with, and care for patients.
- Ensure patient safety.
- Post-high school education in a specialized field: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
- 1 year of clinical experience in a nuclear medicine program.
- Desired: 3-4 years of experience.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) within 6 months of hire date or American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiography (ARRT).
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands-on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
