We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Eaton Aerospace's EPG CHD ALP Airport Lighting Products division. Located in Windsor, CT, this role offers a competitive estimated hourly rate of $18.53 per hour and a core working hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. As an Assembly Specialist, you will play a critical role in assembling products using various hand tools according to specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble products using various hand tools according to specifications and standards.
  • Meet production schedules as determined by Supervisor or Team Lead and work from sample fixtures.
  • Handle and move parts from storage locations to work cells.
  • Assist Material Handlers in obtaining parts as necessary.
  • Perform individual quality inspections throughout the assembly process, marking and setting aside parts with obvious defects and informing Supervisors or Team Leads.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to use hand tools, both manual and power tools.
  • The ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for 8 hours.
  • Excellent fine motor skills, including simple grasp, data entry/processing, twisting motion, and fine manipulation.
  • The ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and comply with all Safety policies.
  • The ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other Production paperwork.
