Job Summary

Pierce County is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Planning and Public Works team. As a key member of our Maintenance and Operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing maintenance projects for roads, stormwater systems, and river levees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prepare contract plans for capital improvement projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for roads, stormwater systems, and river levees
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective maintenance and operations
  • Investigate and resolve citizen concerns related to infrastructure maintenance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Registration as an Engineer-In-Training or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure maintenance
